Only spent around $150 - was a smaller version indeed, but it was ideal for the daughter (4).
Cost was $45 for a family ticket (2x adults, 3x children), showbags were same price as the Royal show, had some pony and camel rides $10, attractions, market stands etc.. was a good day out actually.
Only thing that pissed me off was face painting - $15.. $15!!! ARE YOU JOKING ME!?!

As a show tragic I wouldn't recommend the Saturday as you are looking at 125,000 plus. That's a lot of bogans and plenty of people who are below the meaty part of the IQ cusp.
