Ideally they'd rather face a West Australian team at the MCG in the grand final rather than a Victorian one. The travelling to WA for the lead up finals would also be wearing on potential opponents. Freo also has games in hand, they could be resting up a bit for a reinvigorated attack come finals time.

Freo could still finish 3rd so why would it be in their interest to drop it?
Hawks will win their remaining 3 games and West Coast could win all their remaining games. Freo no certainty to win more than 1 of their last 3

Really? I thought the exact opposite I would've said West Coast had more decisions there way

I'm still not convinced on the eagles yet albeit they do play a attractive brand of footy..

Freo got a heap of 50/50s. A lot of the frees WC got were Silvangi panicking against Kennedy.

Not sold? They are doing this without a backline. Hawks are the bench mark, but we are not far away.

If they finish top and play the dogs or swans at home they will win, then have to play hawthorn or west coast at home in a prelim.
My money would be on a freo hawthorn grand final still

Nic Nat to come back and yet they are still being doubted to beat the Dogs & Crows let alone give the flag a shake? Give me a spell. This lot are the real deal - more resilience than any team in the comp.
Second spot is theirs if they want. WB in Perth this week, yes they're going well (at Etihad albeit) but get them on Subiaco and it may be a different story. The Crows the following week in Adelaide who still haven't beaten anyone of note yet.
The Eagles are in it up to their necks.
