127 Days is on my to do list!

127 Days next on my list too, as well as Nordburger and Burgastronomy.

The new Foundry is on Henley Beach Rd, walked 5-10 mins straight down the backstreet from Thebby Oval.

Almost any street south of Thebby would almost get you back to Henley Beach Rd.

Yet to have a bad Foundry experience.

However, if one finds themselves in London look up a chain called Byron Hamburger. It will be pricey at about 13 quid for an American style burger (standard cooking is medium) side of fries and a coke but top notch British service.

Correct, however chucking a left straight out of Thebby and following it down to HB Rd gets you right to the door.

My burger opinion, in order:
Bread and Bone
Burger Theory
Chuck Wagon
Burger Foundry
Fancy Burger
Grill'd

Not a lot between the top four there though. Also been to Goldburger at Golden Grove but doesn't deserve much of a mention IMO.

Earl of Aberdeen for lunch today
600gm Beef Porterhouse Schnitzel with "meatza" topping consisting of ham, pepperoni, bacon & mozzarella cheese & chips.
Chips served UNDER the schnitty - WHY WHY WHY???
The hunk of meat however was tasty, perfectly cooked, plenty of topping & came out quickly.
The schnitzel was $24.90 (the 300gm was $19.90) so it was a no brainer, the topping was an additional $7 which was a tad steep. The bottle of coke I had was $4.60.
I don't normally spend $36.50 on lunch but I had a win earlier so spoilt myself.

Bennys on Findon Rd.

Tonight the order consisted of

- 1 x large pulled pork poutine (pork, gravy and cheese on fries)

- 1 x hot bulldog. (cross between a hotdog and burrito)

- 1 x kaiser dog (hotdog with coleslaw, bacon and mustard)

10 x garlic and herb wings, which are currently in the fridge untouched coz my eyes are bigger than my tiny belly.

All that was $45. Good value. The hotdogs are at least twice the size of New York Dreams ones.

The gridiron boys sometimes go down after training and smash 200+ wings at a time.

10/10

Been there's a number of times, kids love it there. Ok/good food. Carlton Draught on tap there must be missed at all cost, tastes awful

Potato skins and buffalo wings the pick IMO

Just finished up at Viva Zapatas at Semaphore.

Firstly, a word of warning....if there is only two of you, do NOT order the half serve of nachos as a starter. The "half serve" is actually more than a full meal size. We struggled through the mains because we were full already.

We got the El Bandidos, which have a little of everything. Awesome. Better than Montazumas in Nth Adel.

They dont have any spiced rums, so points off for that. Got a Bundy instead which wasn't made with the love I would've expected. Its like I made it, instead of made by someone who does it for a living. Theres just something about drinks made by barmen that make them better. This was not one of them. The missus got a cocktail, which was made pretty well and tasted like pure sugar cane and alcohol. Just those two ingredients, nothing else.

Total cost for the two of us was $85 which is on the pricey side for us. This will be a VERY sometimes thing.

All things considered, I'd give these guys a 7/10. Room for improvement, but I recommend you try it if you're ever in the area.
