A GRADERS
What constitute an A Grader?
Here is my list:
ADEL: Dangerfield, Thompson, Jacobs, Sloane
BRIS: D.Beams, Rockliff
CARL: Murphy, Simpson
COLL: Pendlebury, Swan, Sidebottom
ESS: Heppell, Watson, Stanton, Goddard
FREO: Fyfe, Mundy, Neale, Barlow, Sandilands, Johnson
GEEL: Bartel, Selwood, Enright, Taylor
GC: Ablett, Rischitelli, Prestia
GWS: Ward, Mumford, Treloar, H.Shaw, Sheil, Greene
HAW: Lewis, Hodge, Mitchell, Roughead, Gibson, Lake, Burgoyne
MELB: Jones, Vince
NM: Goldstein, Swallow, Ziebell, Dal Santo
PORT: Gray, Boak, Wingard, Wines
RICH: Ellis, Martin, Rance, Cotchin, Delidio
ST.K: Steven, Montagna, Armitage, Riewoldt
SYD: Hannebery, Kennedy, Parker, Jack, McVeigh, Richards, Franklin
WCE: Gaff, Priddis, Kennedy, Naitanui
WB: Boyd, Macrae, Picken
There's a few borderline players listed there as well as a few that could be in there but aren't. I was looking at consistent performers over a period of 12 months or longer as my criteria.

Re: A GRADERS
Quick glance -
GWS missing Cameron
Not sure about Stanton, Lake, Montagna and Richards.
Good effort though mate, I'm in the middle of mine so I'll post it later.

I can see your point with Cameron, managed to score goals when GWS were poo.
Montagna having a stellar season and has carried the midfield torch for the Saints when Hayes was absent, Stanton's racked up 25+ possessions on a regular basis for as long as I can remember, Lake is the best in the business at his craft and has been for a long time, Teddy was a bit of a token addition as I think he's a great nullifying full back and I lacked key defenders, I seem to be heavily grading on-ballers.

Stanton no way, Goddard once was but not any more. I would put Hurley and Hooker above those two

I was tempted to put Hurley in, Hooker would only be a solid B for mine, watching him kick for goal was painful on the weekend. I have him in my Supercoach team so I tend to pay attention to his game, he's a potential A grader though.

Jaeger O'Meara? He's a gun.
I'm not sure on Rance anymore, think he's dropped away, I would think Jack Reiwoldt would be a consideration?

Absolute, 20 disposals at half time from a CHB is insane, very high effectiveness too, no one reads the play like he does.

I think Ellis is a jet, averages 27 disposals per game, Heath Shaw is the best running defender going around currently and Montagna is in career best form, the rest I could have left out.

So Johnson of Freo who hasn't played for weeks is an A Grader and Enright, who is coming back to some really good form in recent weeks is not? He's not as good as he once was but he's still an A Grader for me. LM's list is an excellent effort. I reckon Stanton stands out he is bog average.

Re: A GRADERS
Good list LM
From that list my A grade side would be:
Shaw Taylor Enright
Hodge Rance Burgoyne
Fyfe Pendles Gaff
Reiwoldt Franklin Gray
Wingard Kennedy Roughhead
Ruck: Goldstien, GAJ, Mitchell
Bench: NicNat Selwood Dangerfield
Tricky, tried to add players to where they play (or played at stages) added Gaff for his run and carry and plays as a genuine HBF (i think). The players on the bench you could have 10 different players make those 3 spots

I'd separate that list to move some into another category for Elite (or A+) .. Ablett, Fyfe, Pendles, Rought etc.

I'd expect that from an Eagles supporter, obviously take more notice of him than I, I do rate McGovern very highly though and is definitely up there.

Re: A GRADERS
A B+ list would be pretty cool too, then we could reflect on it in 12 months time and see how many graduated.
