Very well said. Unfortunately I think this day and age it is very hard to have that work/life balance as Phil mentioned and wanted to address before his passing.
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!

Phil's daughter released a heartfelt statement, I hope the media leave their family to grieve from here on in...

There will be a huge discussion about mental health services in this state as fallout from this sad story.

Yes and it will be the same story. In the end the help wasn't there for someone that needed it most.

I'm no expert on this matter, but I'm not sure it's as cut and dry as that. Sure I'm aware of situations where the help hasn't been there or resources didn't extend far enough to adequately address a situation, but a lot of people elect to avoid addressing their problems.

It will all come out in due course (the mental health issues if any)

Alot of presumptions being made which happens in situations such as this.

I will keep my thoughts on the matter private but looking at the facts as presented to this moment there appears to be something that has not happened "just on the spur of the moment"

Are you suggesting pre-meditation? My thoughts were that it appeared to be the opposite, a 'crime of passion' of sorts.

I read an article that he was stabbed in the back while in bed.

Obviously the media can't always be trusted, but if true, it points to pre-meditation.

I stand to be corrected, but I don't think they acknowledged the SANFL when thanking all who had supported them during that incredibly dark day. Obviously it is understandable that they will forget some parties during the turmoil of the day. Interesting all the same.

Also heard the stabbed in bed thing. Not a CSI member but its also hard to stab someone in the leg if they're laying down. Not speaking from experience mind you.

Taylor Walker : "he was a man I started to fall in love with". Of all the things said this week this has stuck out the most for me. So much respect.
Hope both Adelaide sides get up this weekend

What sticks in my mind is in 3 different replayed I/V's with Phil W he has said 'im a weirdo' not sure what he means by that
Also when he said that one time he snapped at his son & Cy said 'so footy's started has it dad'
& i agree Q it is like a crime of passion, it said Cy didnt like footy & its like when ex partners take away something the other loved

Weird - means "something you cannot comprehend"

when kids say to other kids "your a weirdo" that kid believes he is insulting the weirdo, but infact he is insulting himself because he is expressing that he cannot comprehend the way the weirdo is being

Phil is obviously providing a pre-warning before he expresses something weird (something you may not be able to comprehend) such as vangough

It all sounds like the result of a drug induced paranoid psychosis to me, regardless of other speculations in the media.
Whether past family relationship issues contributed to the reported pattern of previous drug use is another more complex issue...

Your for real. Your Port bashing is almost laughable, Port showed 28 images of Phil Walsh in the 60 image count down. You Idiot.

Go back to losing in your gambling thread or maybe actually post something in the peaheart thread oh sorry the Kangeroos thread.

The tribute to Walsh after the game is something I'll never forget.
