A Froth it is. Over on day 3.

Locked in.

Redbacks would have them on toast and then get bowled out for 88 in the second dig.

What I don't get is why they aren't playing Shiv in the 5 day format. I thought he was still in the worlds top ten and clearly there only world class batsman. I do like the look of the Leggie though. Considering they were only 9 runs shy off setting us a target with 7 in the shed before El collapso I don't think we are going to be quite as dominant as a 3 day demolition.

He's made 1 fifty in his last 10 innings & 5 single digit figures out of his last 6 innings, I initially thought it was so he doesn't eclipse Lara's run-scoring record which he is 87 runs shy of but I can see their point now.
It's kind of good that the Windies are going through a youth policy stage, I just hope that they are patient enough to stick with it, would love to see them back up in the top half of the cricket world and getting the 6 and a half footers sending down missiles instead of opting for basketball.

gotta get them off the Hooch. I read that the talent is their playing park cricket but they refuse to conform to the drug policy.

It didn't do them any harm in the 80's, I heard a few good stories.

And there it is, 100 to Smith. Nice cut shot for four to bring it up.

His 102 has come off 200 balls.

199 and f@&$. Great knock Smudge, shame about the end but a fair nut to get. I thought he Hit it but fair to say 199 would be far less frustrating than 99 not that I have been there except in the backyard.

Let's see if the Windies can show some grit with the bat now.

With both openers on 0 they nearly run two in a mix up that results in a dot. Next ball out. This mob is a shambles

Starks first 2 overs looked pretty good, Hazlewood not so threatening.

They are no certainty to outscore Smith

J.Taylor 6/47 off 25 overs is a serious effort.

Agreed. Why he bowled 6 overs in the first session only after taking 2/0 off his first 5 is another example of the calamity of Windies cricket. Also strange he bowled the least yesterday of the pace men and they didn't take the second new ball yesterday. I watched him bowl in 4 of the 5 sessions and he looked dangerous in all of them.
