The boys are already talking about 'the next race'. Hopefully that's a Saturday meet - as I'm going to the races on the 19th of May.

PS. I had 20 on it @ $2.30!

Some of the owners are in the winners circle at Balak living it up. Prix!

Yeah, they'll get taken into the committee room for drinks, nibbles etc and a replay of the race.

Congrats Gadj, well done to anyone prepared to put their $$ into the industry and get a win.

Wasn't disappointed with SM's run and maybe she can turn it around, she has usually been showing pace then fading but today went back and made ground and was jogging for about 50m before getting a run late. Reckon the ride was a bit ordinary, if she came to the outside early in the straight I reckon she would have only lost by 3 lengths.

Our next horse Very Edgy is only a couple of weeks away from 1st start and this one is looking good, will let you all know.

So Dutchy, despite the jock's efforts to get the better of the outcome, would you say Silver Mint finally put it together - and watch for next start?

Certainly an improved effort, complete opposite of the way she has been running in leading and fading. She is no where near the size of Call Centre yet so I suspect she has a bit of growing to do yet, might be a couple more runs then out to the paddock

Lately I've gone back to looking for "Overs" and have had a really good run (so no doubt the bubble will burst soon lol). Found one today at Hawkesbury, Race 5 No. 8 Sweetiebella. Both TAB tipsters (Darren Flindell and Kevin Casy) have selected it to win, and it's currently $26 on Tatts and $41/$7.50 on Sportsbet, in fixed markets.

Whilst Im not a fan of the lesser metro-proven jocks (Panya onboard), with currently 9 Runners in the race worth a little EW stab I reckon.

I think the newly founded JK Bet will refund any losing bets upto $1000

They have plenty of cash after a successful plunge Wednesday

Niccorossa has pulled up well post her run. Jolly was very happy, as was Gatt. Now targeting a 0-62 at Strath on the 29th of April.

Silver Mint will be there also, thankfully in a different race! Like midweek at Strath, 25mins from work :)

7 races on the card at Rocky today
A Coome has a full book of rides
Race caller Russell Leonard has picked him to win the last 5 races and run 2nd in the first race which is currently odds on.
I do think his ride in the 3rd will go well.
