Bostons finished third in 2007, straight out to Waybacks though.

A grade - Tasmans, Francis

B grade - Mallee Park, Pete Shanley

Good get WCP, just kept it up your sleeve nicely. It is interesting to think back to March/April. Everyone was saying Tasman's would drop down alot with all the players out from the previous season. Shows how important Carl and Reece are to that team. There whole game plan and style revolves thosse 2.

With that i will say Tasman's for the flag and Francis, Rawson and Singh as the trifecta for the MM.
The ressies i think Waybacks could win the 4th flag in a row. The medal will go to whoever Jack has chosen from MP, someone no one has heard of but wins it easy. Or maybe Russell Carbine, has kicked alot of goals.

Whats the procedure with yellow cards? Is that an automatic report or is that only with red cards? Is there any ongoing sanction incurred from recieving a yellow card?

I believe in our league (HFL) that three yellow cards within the one season is an automatic 2 weeks suspension

Yellow can be a report, depends on the circumstances. Don't see too many red cards any more, not since Jonesy left the area.

On the MM reckon again it will be between Francis & Maxfield.
From Sporting Pulse this is the tale of the tape:

Player: Francis...........Maxfield
Games.......13................15
Top 6............8................9
Best .............3.................3
2nd ..............1................. 3
3rd...............1..................0

Overall pretty similar form. Think Carl will definitely take votes from Reece from the games we have played against them.
Our most consistent 2 players over the year have been Smac and Toby and not sure they are vote catchers.
Maxy has played every game this year, and reckon that will give him the nod by 3 votes.

Speaking of yellow cards, it was interesting to hear that in one match in GF a player was yellow carded in the last quarter. His side lost the game but that player received 3 MM votes from each umpire.

If he played on the weekend how can he be injured? So unless it's an injury permit he hasn't qualified, but I'm sure the PLFL are on top of it...

In the 3rd tier of footy in the country.

Has the final result of the TV show decided? If I was the winner I would be staying away from any contact sports.

Even more so. Imagine rolling up to the final with a potentially career ending injury. The AFL club that gets them would be thrilled

why not? didn't Bostons play a player on a permit in their biggest game of the season?

Firstly, I didn't agree with it.

Secondly, our biggest game of the season is this weekend.

Thirdly, he won't be playing this weekend as he has not qualified.

Yoey is clearly not injured, has not qualified and should not play finals in a League he hasn't played a game in.

I know your close mates but take the red and white glasses off for a sec...

No red and white glasses on here, if your club could bring back a player half as good as Yoey wouldn't you want them to explode if they could do so?
