Bit hard when the delivery is rubbish but he had an off night and was soundly beaten.
Still did more than Tippett and for quarter the price lol

The new Nick Maxwell.

Is it just me or did Tippet look like he was only about 50% fit, didnt move well at all, looked real slow

Agreed he was terrible tonight and was in no position to blast others

Your clearance work was very good, pressure and effort was certainly there but yes by foot you weren't great.

Not harsh at all. No good winning the ball at clearences and kicking it straight back to the opposition.
Still have no forward structure and team selection is ordinary at best

Their clearance work was ordinary IMO, no point getting the clearance when you lack composure to use the ball, a scrubby 20m kick doesnt cut it against the Swans. Think they won the clearances because they had more players at the contest, Sydney owned the 15-20m perimeter of the clearances

Very hard to win when the home side is favoured 24-11 in the free kick count and your side only receives 5 frees after 1/4 time.
Hard enough for any side to win against a very good Sydney side without getting a reaming from the umps

So when essendon players continue to take blokes high, the umpires should just ignore them??!

Not to mention the 2 very dubious deliberate decisions as well..

I think several of them were there but there was plenty that were not especially to Ducker McGlynn.
Would be nice to get some 50/50's aswell, reckon there was atleast 5-6 high tackles on us go un rewarded.
Didnt cost us the game though, gifting you 5 of your first 6 goals with skill errors hurt more

Mitch Grigg the sub again. Whilst its unlikely to affect the result today, is there any danger in you guys giving him a run to develop him at AFL level. If not kindly return him to Norwood, thanks.
