You need a thread just for that Q.

You should reverse what they generally do - tell them the car is garaged in a storage facility and you need $90 to get it out as you have no money, and you will take that off the price.
I love 'Food and Stuff'. It's where I buy all of my food. And most of my stuff.

Yep, Missy the missing cat is the funniest email I think I've ever read - and I always crack up at exactly the same bit.

Some of his stuff borders on annoying for me at times though.

Can a speed camera mounted on a car get you if you are going down the other side of the road or only if the car is traveling the same way as the camera car is facing?

I would say both ways

No technical reason at least why it wouldn't work

Still waiting for the letter to arrive... :?

That one could be >$400 but surely due to the fact if you live in SA you have to drive through 65 sets of road works a day some leeway should be given. :)

Phew.

I've only ever been done speeding once. I was 18/19 and driving down Grand Junction Road to get to Grange, where my then girlfriend lived. Needless to say, I had a bathroom emegency and a fear of pinching loaves in public toilets...

i think you will be fine Wristy, happy to be corrected but i dont think actual police cars are equipped with cameras. if they dont pull you over at the time and write out the paperwork, they dont get you.

some police cars are equipped with radars that actually operate while they are moving, but once again, they have to pull you over.
