Norwood's u18s kicked 7.17, but the Eagles kicked 8.14 on a fairly calm day.

25% decline in one year.

Same teams, same time of game , similar weather.

Thanks Phil Gallagher and Andrew Killey for what you've done to the club you profess to love.

A few less Norwood supporters on the band wagon this year?

Given that 3,300 of the crowd were Norwood supporters I'd be more inclined to think not enough (if they even exist) Eagles supporters have jumped on your bandwagon.

Craig Fleer is creepier than Rolf Harris. I don't care if it's a whinge but the fact is the Eagles got basically half of their goals through frees and got a great ride from the umpires all night. I can remember at least four times where a Norwood player was first to the ball and yet the one penalised. Norwood played some pretty good footy and definitely had more than enough chances to finish the game off. Our inefficiency going forward is appalling ATM, when/if we get this right we will win more than we lose. Eagles looked like they could go up a few gears (will they actually do it this year?). Sumner did an excellent job on Phillips (probably got them over the line in the end). Bauldy was BOG by a mile again and you'd have to question why he was left out of the final SANFL squad when he's the most in form big man in the comp.

Even with a reasonably small crowd, that was the most hostile I've seen fans get towards the umpires at the parade (and rightly so). Umpiring is a sh1t /hard job, yet if the players performed as badly as they were on Friday night they'd be dropped in a heartbeat. Some of these umpires are meant to be well paid professionals and you'd think making faces and responding to the crowd is hardly professional.

I think it may have been a case of only wanting to take 1 genuine tap ruckman (Daniel Webb from West can play both forward and ruck and is more athletic) so Keegan Brooksby just got the nod over Sam, who I think has had a better overall season than Sammy. I'm sure Sam himself want be bothered, or more importantly MOST of Norwood players, officials and staff because if he went down injured, that would be a huge blow.
