Totally agree with you,
im happy to extend the holiday to more like 30 days but she wants a max of 25.
Im trying to tread very careful making sure she doesn't feel like im taking over the holiday yet not letting her make rookie errors.

We have a mate who lives in Toronto so that will probably be a separate trip next year which we will take the kids with as well.

We will be leaving the kids with her mother for the entirety of our trip, I think the 25 days mark is about the most her mum can squeeze of work for that period.
