Good luck Mal! You can do it, I have faith in you!

I have 3 more weeks before I go back for new blood test to check cholesterol levels etc, hopefully I see some results from the past couple months.. unfortunately the weight loss seems to be stalling though :(

So far so good , good old fashioned weight losing methods

There are a couple of products out there
Been studying the form guide

GARCINIA CAMBOGIA
Recommended dose : Take 2 capsules a day for optiMAL results

AFRICAN MANGO
Twice a day before meals

Any FEEDback on those 2 products anyone ?

PS
Booney
How will Beer help ?

After having a look at the 2 I wouldn't waste my money. They have made a name for themselves off a Dr Oz recommendation. It seems every week Dr Oz has this new magical pill. After reading a couple of articles these 2 products seem to be on the same lines as most of Dr Oz products. They have little research to back up their claims. They also don't have any long term research, meaning long term side effects are unknown.

Calorie deficit.

These 'snake oils' don't actually do anything.

Yeah that's how i'm going about it, thanks to a couple of apps on my phone makes life bit easier - myfitnesspal and caloriecounter.

Do you think these other products do help though in that they mentally perhaps make the user believe they are having an impact therefore creating a positive vibe for them?

I think they're more likely to lull one into a false sense of security... "ooh, I took my fat burner today, think I'll go treat myself to maccas"

Most of them aren't worth it. The only sups I've ever had success with is Green tea and L-Carnitine. I will say though these did absolutely nothing for weight loss. What they did do was give me a good natural energy boost. Having a calorie deficit you will notice a drop in your energy levels. Using these 2 gave me good energy all day especially when I was training late at night, the extra plus was it didn't keep me up all night.

That's what i've found the past couple of weeks, I occasionally hit some serious brick walls late in the afternoon and just feel so flat which makes it difficult to find the motivation/drive to get out and do my exercise.

Doesn't happen every day though.

Also is it safe?
Sure the users and sellers will say it is, but then those promoting or selling anything always say that.
Even Vitamin B6 can cause brain damage if you take too much.

Safer than caffeine and may even have neuro protective qualities.

I'll add it's not a stimulant and doesn't give an energy boost, but enhances focus and clarity. No come downs, no withdrawals.
