Did the cannabis tell him to drive? I'm not meaning to be disrespectful but if someone gets behind the wheel drunk it's their own fault whereas if they drive while influenced by cannabis it's the drugs fault?

Let people take what they want but remove all ability to use it as a defence. Prosecute any crimes committed under the influence with the full weight of the law. i.e. a slap on the wrist and some community service

If you use the argument that no one should be allowed to use cannabis because people "might" drive while under the influence then you have to advocate a ban on alcohol as well or you are opening yourself up to being labelled a hypocrite.

I'm not using it as a argument to ban cannabis. I was purely stating it does kill people. While it might have not been the cannabis that kills the person it does effect their reactions which can lead to death. Just like people who have been drunk and died from a accident. It's the reason why we have RBT to stop people from driving while being under the influence.
