Short six-part series 'The Strange Calls' from 2011 a reasonably funny aussie paranormal/comedy starring Barry Crocker is being replayed on ABC 2 starting tonight at 10:45pm.

i loved black books, another short lived british comedy, 18 episodes over three seasons.

brits seem to do their comedy in short bursts, get in, hammer their material and get out before it gets stale. always leave them wanting more??

also i cant believe firefly hasnt been mentioned (unless i missed it), one series, 14 episodes, cancelled way too early
