Wouldn't be surprised to see the Hawks forced by the leaugue to wear something different if they are the away team against them, even though white shorts would be sufficient.

True. Richmond are wee and bundy&cola poo.

Freo's first away guernsey was pretty bad. The majority of it was green which never looks good

I've always wondered why so few teams in world sport have green as their main colour.
With a few new teams coming in lately,I thought at least 1 of them would have gone with the green.
Even W-WT seem to be having less of it now.

Is it such a horrible colour or does it clash too much with the grass?

If anyone has seen Celtic play at home,it can look very colourful.

I think the new franchises didn't consider green as it is now the umpires colour. Maybe. Or not.

Umpires' colour?
That's ridiculous - umpires can (and do) wear any colour that doesn't clash with the competing teams - not always with great effectiveness. I think the umpires should just wear white like they did for 100 years. And clubs should wear away strips that aren't likely to clash with the umps or the opposition - in other words, not predominantly white.

Fair enough. Wasn't saying I was 100% sure. I did say maybe or not....meaning I was having a guess. But yea bring back the white

I think if a Tasmanian team is ever admitted, it will be predominantly green.

Would explain why Freo ditched it. Other than the fact their colour combination was terrible.

The brown represents how shit they were before they entered the league and up until they broke through in 1961. The yellow represents all of the piss and dribble Hawthorn supporters have rained down on us all since they were given a massive blowjob with the zoning in the early 1970's and dominated the 1980's.

A truly disgraceful jumper that is most befitting of those that wear it.

When you actually win a few grand finals you don't tend to worry about the one that got away. We probably pinched the 2009 flag so let the good times roll.
