I prefer the dry heat to it being humid, so much easier to get used to I reckon. Been a tough week working outside in the heat, you get used to it pretty quickly though.

I agree. Japan isn't the most humid country, not compared with say Singapore or the Cairns part of Oz, but even if it's a healthy 35 degrees here in Fukuoka, I'm sweating just sitting still and not moving a muscle. If I have to go for a walk then I'll change into special walking clothes and then put on my real clothes, after I've toweled down at my destination. I can't stand humidity.

Still no relief. The typhoon that hit the Philippines has seen to that.

Got some guys from Adelaide at work at the moment. Yesterday was only 36, but they reckon they would take a southern 45 any day.

just checked the bureau site for the observations and saw how bad it was outside, bloody magnificent inside, under the air-con! :lol:

I really hate the hot weather. I prefer cooler weather anything around 20 is nice.

Just got back from port Elliot thinking it would be cooler down there.

It was not . 42 degrees .

The Airport has dropped from 41 to 28 in the last hour, pretty nice outside if you can get away from the bricks and concrete

even in the short time since I posted that, it's changed

even if is it wrong, I've never seen 48 forecast for Adelaide!
