Whos playing the victim, and how did you come to that conclusion?

Im trying to say everyone is equal and should be treated the same. Others are trying to say we should treat Aboriginal people differently because they're Aboriginal. Which is racist, isnt it?

Attempting to empower indigenous people does not equal the the disempowerment of everyone else.

Over compensating by everything being "racist" has a detremental effect on the harmony between races though.

Surely you can see that a lot of people are being way too pedantic. Ive used the word racism and racist a lot, just to highlight how you can just throw it at any statement that involves race, and it'll look like the statement was in fact racist. Then its on the person, who didnt have any racist beliefs, to be labeled racist.

OnSongs three catergories show that as well. Also, the example of the scholarship made by someone before. "Give Aboriginal people a scholarship to a good school = revisiting the Stolen Generation. Dont give Aboriginal people a scholarship to a good school = obvious racism"

Its just getting ridiculous.

Or the desperate need for some white people to feel guilty, or be ashamed of, being white.

I'm not ashamed. I know my life has been a whole lot easier because I'm white. Not guilty about it either.

Agree that, at times, political correctness can be overt. Don't think the Rendell saga was a case of this, I just reckon AD wanted his head for other reasons.

Ditto, and I do feel the (somewhat distant) Viking ancestors on both sides of my family have been unfairly treated by revisionist history for just doing what came naturally. ;)

The guy is a violent thug who should be chucked in gaol. However he is black so all bets are off and he will have his problems sorted and will be probably be back in the side before too long. Ben Cousins, Wayne Carey were too white so they copped sh1t for their indiscretions.

Sick of that jurrah guy being referred to as "Melbourne star" yes he is better than most players at that club but he is by no means a star
