When I went to my first ever Rugby League game in 1990 ( Bears v Cronulla..RIP Bears :( ) I asked the same question - what is a scrum? and it was described to me as follows:

One guy pushing 2 guys heads up 3 guys asses :lol:

This however, probably doesn't answer your question though :lol:

I had a similar experience a few years back. I was organising a stocktake for work and I had to supply morning tea and lunch, it was a simple majority rules scenario. KFC got the nod, I went and picked up shitloads of it and all the trimmings along with an assortment of drinks.
One FBG piped up while we were eating and said "Where's the diet pepsi?", I looked at her and her plate with 4 pieces, a stack of chips and a few nuggets and said "I think the horse has bolted love", she whinged about it for ages after that. WTF??
