it was the first thing i noticed when i seen a photo of the team celebrating late friday night. and it took this long for it to make headlines.

Obviously enough people know otherwise it wouldn't have caused such a stir, even though it's another case of the football media trying to find a story in slow news week.

I agree, but slow news week? Every day on the radio there is a reference to the "17 year old schoolgirl"! Kim Duthie is a gold mine for the media - there must not be anything on the field worth talking about, so the goalposts have been shifted.
