My Vodafone SIM for my mobile phone is OK in the city and suburbs, but patchy in the hills.
It was useless when I was in Bunbury, but then even my Telstra 4G USB Internet gizmo was patchy there.
(But worked beautifully at Busselton and Bridgetown - both further south of Perth.)

That's the reason I tried pocket wifi.
And can recommend it.
When I am away from home, like in a hospital (Glenside), I can have my laptop and my ipad online at the same time.
Which I did.
Through Vodafone which everyone complains about, including me.
But had no problems of late.
