If Rock Band / Band Hero is a priority, I'd say go for the PS3 or XBOX. That way you can buy Band Hero (Better quality hardware - drums, guitars etc) and still play the Rock Band game. On the Wii, you cannot play both games with one set of hardware unfortunately.

Sorry, other way round. You can't use Rock Band instruments with Band Hero.

PS3 is the way to go. Awesome if you want to play online gaming.
My XBox 360 broke and so did my mates. Only had it a year. Typical Microsoft product.
