Good thread Dinga...downloaded the new Jack Johnson album today and it was a RAR file...WTF
Ahhh refer to Dinga's thread !! Done and plays a treat !! Good album too !!
Does the WTF refer to the RAR file or the Jack Johnson CD?

Can I just point out that downloading music without the artists permission is illegal and I or the site do not condone those actions in any way.

I just assumed you needed a back up copy for the one you purchased? We all need back ups!

I get most of my "backups" from torrentleech (need membership for that one, I have no invites at this point) torrentspy and torrentreactor, but usually just google search the torrent and run with a link from a site I have heard of before and get pretty good results.

I use Pirate Cave (I think that's it's name). It's a German site - so once you get past the initial language problems (only on the front page) it's all good. I recently DL a heap of live concerts from Triple J from it. Very good.

Righto, reckon I used it the day before as well. Will cross it off the list - I'm sure someone will take their place though.

That sucks... I think I have almost uploaded enough to get some invites, will bear you in mind if that happens (reckon about 3-4 weeks away).
