He really is all class hey?

He doesn't look as strong, as fit, as big or as athletic as Kyrgios but his endurance is far superior, it was like he gained strength and mobility as the game went on, I'm not a huge tennis viewer but I was expecting a huge clash last night and was barracking for Kyrgios, he put up a fair effort but between the ears won.

Got to hand it to Nick Kyrgios, two match points down and on both played the most ridiculous shots to get out of them, and then after that just played some amazing tennis. He is certainly entertaining to watch, bit like how people loved watching McEnroe in his hey day. Should be great game next round against Dominic Thiem.

I actually watched some of this last night and I began to realise tennis is far more palatable to watch when there's no Fanatics carrying on in the crowd.

I "endured" a set, worked a treat, put me to sleep.

I find all these comments staggering. Could not find which thread all the comments were on re how tennis/soccer so boring, but tennis is far from that. How any sports lover could not have found last night entertaining is beyond belief. Having seen Kyrgios play on that stadium live couple of years ago, it was amazing atmosphere, you could sense that thru the tv last night and only half filled stadium. Cant wait till Friday night when he takes on Thiem. The rest of you can just find a good book if that's what stimulates you :D

Was watching during break at work and thought she was going to win 6-0, 6-0. Won first set easy.

Just saw she lost next two sets easily

What the hell happened - injured, choked, pressure of being favourite - how the hell did she lose that??

And with easy semi final ride thru it is such a waste!!

I only saw from early in the 2nd but imho her opponent looked clearly the better player .. Said to a mate who suggested a Barty v Serena clash will be awesome that this match was far from over, unfortunately.

That stuff is bullshi%, more and more players are using it as tactic to change momentum of the match, should be stamped out!

I may be the only one watching but some of the crowd at the Kockhead and his sidekick doubles match was enough to make me turn over.

Watching Barty now. What a classy player and reflected in her crowd.

Love the tennis.....im so undecided on the whole Special K thing.....

One part of me thinks its entertaining and that having crowds be able to make noise throughout a game wouldn't be such a bad thing....I mean if cricket/baseball and even golf have a party hole than surely tennis can lighten up a bit if it means more people get into the sport, including kids. Im all for kids just trying different sports and being active.

On the other hand tennis players are earning more than enough so money in the sport isn't an issue, if there happy with the current status quo and don't want a new generation kick up the backside than good luck to them playing with the old traditions.

I don't think there is any doubt that Special K have crossed the line of bad sportsman ship at time during the doubles and if they weren't Aussies we would probably call them arrogant pricks and want them kicked out the tournament.

Collins gets a break and his turned the game.

Barty has lost two games on serve for the tournament. Impressive.
