I see the draft order was done today in the order of % odds. First time ever. Phily 1, Lakers 2.

I think Phily could play this smart and come away with a good deal. Simmons wants to get to the Lakers. If Lakers are just as keen to have him, Phily surely draft Simmons, then trades him to Lakers for no. 2 pick which will be Ingram, and also a future pick.

Not sure there's much difference in value between Simmons and Ingram. Can't imagine it's a future first rounder unless it's a swap of a few spots but with future picks, that's all a gamble. Philly probably need to chat with the kid and see if he's the franchise player they can build around. If so, they need to move a bunch of other bigs they have. If not, probably let him slide and pick the bloke who fits their squad.

Why let him slide if they can get a deal from him...
It won't happen but if Simmons and Lakers are hell bent on being together, why not play them off on each other

As I said, what could you seriously get? If LA rate Simmons that much higher than Ingram that there's some potential deal then Philly will want him for themselves. I just don't think there's a deal of low enough value that LA would be happy giving it up and that Philly would find worthwhile trading for.

They're a huge chance. Would have to fancy their chances against Cleveland or Toronto, big time.

I really hope they don't though. Hate that prick Steven Adams.

That was awesome. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than seeing that wanker Steven Adams and thoroughly unlikable Russell Westbrook choke away a 3-1 lead. Come on Warriors, finish the franchise stealers off!

He does come across as a knob. Polar opposite to Kevin Durant IMO.

Steven Adams fails in his mission to 'make Australians' lives miserable'. :D :D

Enjoy watching another Aussie collect a championship ring for the 3rd year running.

Would love to see the Cavs win for Delly and to stick it up all the pathetic whiners who call him 'dirty' but think the Warriors will win it very comfortably. GSW in 6 games my prediction.

Cavs fight back to take a 1 point lead with 4:00 to go in the 3rd.

EDIT: Warriors get it back, then Delly sets up the alleyoop for Cavs to go back up
