I thought it might be a good idea for the World Cup to have it's own thread. The 2019 FIBA World Cup is being hosted by China and will be played from 31 August - 15 September. The group stage has expanded from 24 to 32 teams with the top two teams from each group advancing to the second round. In Australia Fox Sports have the broadcast rights for the tournament.
Group A - Ivory Coast, Poland, Venezuela, China
Group B - Russia, Argentina, South Korea, Nigeria
Group C - Spain, Iran, Puerto Rico, Tunisia
Group D - Angola, Philippines, Italy, Serbia
Group E - Turkey, Czech Republic, United States, Japan
Group F - Greece, New Zealand, Brazil, Montenegro
Group G - Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Jordan
Group H - Canada, Senegal, Lithuania, Australia
The WC warm-up games taking place in Australia will all be broadcast on SBS Viceland & SBS On Demand.
