Huge upset in Perth with the Crocs coming back from 17 down at Qtr time to beat the Wildcats 66-63. Would've been massive odds especially after the Crocs were beaten by 30 by Melb a couple of nights ago. Townsville had lost their last 12 games In Perth and was one of the gutsiest performances I've seen in an NBL game.

Bit of talk after only making his season debut tonight Childress got some sort of hand/wrist injury in the game tonight.

Josh Childress confirmed broken hand in the loss to the 36ers tonight.

Sydney Kings star Josh Childress has broken his right hand in his comeback game for the club in a cruel blow, which might see him sidelined for months.

Childress, who starred with 23 points despite the Kings' 11-point loss to the Adelaide 36ers on Friday evening, was a broken man after the game, revealing he had hurt himself yet again and will be out of action again after missing the opening four games of the season.

There was noticeable swelling on Childress' right hand and he was having difficulty shaking hands as a result. The Sydney Kings team doctor told Childress he believed the hand was broken when the former NBA star complained during the game.

Yep even in the NBA he struggled with his weight and has continued to struggle with it ever since. To be fair though he's put on a bit more over the past couple of years when he got a serious neck injury when playing in Turkey couldn't walk properly or see out of one eye.

That was a pretty good game today was hoping the Hawks would get up but Perth wanted it more great comeback in the 4th.

Huge announcement today by the Sydney Kings with the signing of former NBA star Al Harrington as an injury replacement for Josh Childress. The 6'9" PF played last season in China after amassing nearly 1000 games in his 16 year career in the NBA from 1998-2014 with Indiana, Atlanta, Golden State, New York, Denver, Orlando & Washington where he averaged 13.5ppg and 5.6rpg. He averaged a career high 20.7ppg with the Knicks in 2009.

Childress is expected to be out for up to four weeks. Harrington is expected to make his debut for the Kings in Sydney against Townsville on Friday night.

Double header tonight the Breakers beat Cairns 90-67 in a dominant display by Corey Webster and you would have to think with Scottie Wilbekin being cut by the 76ers the Taipans might like to get him back at the expense of Markel Starks and in the other game Illawarra beat Townsville 96-88.

A great atmosphere at the Sixers game tonight.

Cairns deserved the win, continually scored points at stages where the Sixers looked to be getting themselves back into the contest.

Randle was awesome!
