I always thought Ray Allen would be a deadly weapon for the Heat this year. Starting to look like he's even better for them than I thought.

Knicks started slow, conceded a 14-2 lead to Philly early on but have dominated since. Late in the 3rd Knicks up by 20

What a collapse by the Nets. Up by 22 in the second half, get smashed 32-10 in the 4th to lose by 11.

Knicks are looking great right now. Carmelo finally learning how to put some hard work in? Always been a sensational scorer but dismal at everything else. If they get Amare firing they have the front court to worry Miami. I didn't worry too much about them because I thought over 7 games they would cough up at least 2 easy wins.

Finding it hard to guage where we are at the moment. Good first up win over Miami but they looked a bit rusty and 2 comprehensive wins over a side I thought we would be fighting with for a playoff berth. Not sure if we have improved or the Sixers are worse, maybe a little bit of both. Melo has finally learnt to add hard work to his skills, still not convinced about the partnership with Amare but im hoping it works out. Long way off being threats but just happy that it appears we are not going to be easybeats anymore.

Should get home court in round 1, maybe even longer. The partnership between Carmelo, Amare and Chandler will be so vital and how Kidd fits in will be fascinating. To be honest though, it seems like the mix isn't right. But the talent is there and if they somehow get the mix to work it'll be a mightily tough match up. Chandler, Amare and Carmelo could force Miami to put Anthony on the floor for his defense, which will in turn make them to leave a key offensive player off the court, such as Allen or Chalmers.

A better effort today but I can't see them winning too many. In the middle of a tough trip West as well, they play the Kings next so they are a chance there if the Kings aren't on their game. If they don't win that then they could be waiting a while for their first win, even their next home games are against good sides.

Easy life being Eric Spoelstra right now. Can play his stars for 30 MPG and get as much time into his reserves as he wants and still come away with easy wins. LeBron the obligatory near triple double, Wade had a nice game and Lewis this time getting some value for his minutes.

Jerry Stackhouse logged a DNP-CD for Brooklyn. Why is he bothering? At least when Jermaine O'Neal and Juwan Howard were spending the game sitting they were trying to use their experience to help win a championship and get a sneaky late ring. Brooklyn isn't being tipped by anyone to threaten for a championship.

can't speak for everyone, but i can think of a few worse ways to earn $1,352,181

that's why i'd be bothering sitting on a bench.

Looks like the Lakers will be bottom of the West on their own after today.
Experts keep saying to wait for awhile until they get their act together but maybe that isnt going happen and they struggle all year. Definately dont want to be giving away 4-5 game headstarts to sides like Dallas and San Antonio though.

Drop in the ocean for him. No doubt he'd also get some very good money doing media or coaching work.

Durant won the game for OKC today. Bulls went with them but down the stretch he was too good, we just don't have anyone who can play that role with no Rose.

Clips are demolishing Portland by 21 at the half.

Mike Brown has been sacked as Lakers coach after starting 1-4
Only just into his second year of a 4 year contract worth $18m.
Seems a knee jerk reaction by the club, it was only announced hours before the side are due to take on the Warriors.

MDA is currently favourite to take over.

Their defence has been abysmal so far yet a guy who doesn't believe in defence is favourite. Phil Jackson is second favourite.

The tank took a while to get started this season but is in full effect now. Brooklyn lost by 30 to Miami as well, will the Heat beat them by 50 or 60?

Heat won thanks to a big 4th by Bosh and a clutch LeBron shot.

George Hill hit an amazing 3 to tie the game in Minny but then some lazy defence gave Minny an easy bucket under the basket.

Knicks still unbeaten and great to see Boston lose again.
