Will want to be posting stats like this night after night to justify his $80 million contract!

If he does that over the whole season he'll be demanding a raise (and getting it) on his next extension.

12 pts 8 assists so a pretty handy game.

Noah is dominating. 18 pts, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 5 steals, and 3 blocks. 5 offensive rebounds and has scored on most of them, plus he is 6/6 at the line.

Hornets and Spurs tied 87-all 3:47 left in the last! Hornets look the better side. They got out to a 15 point lead in the second term before the Spurs took the lead in the third. Interesting finish coming up! Make that 89-87 Hornets way 3:10 to go

Sensational start for Harden. 37/12 on very good shooting. Lin solid too with 12/8.

From ESPN:

"The Lakers' troubles were compounded by the loss of guard Steve Nash to what appeared to be a left knee injury late in the first half."

The issue for the Lakers is they need time to get their 4 stars working together. Howard came over late-ish in the offseason, Kobe misses a week and now Nash will hardly train but might play under duress until the leg is better. It's not a serious knee, but just delays them from getting that time on court together they need.

Good for me though, with Harden moving and LA spluttering at the start there's more happening than I feared.

Bad turnover at the end by OKC, Durant was pretty lazy.

Parker with the buzzer beater to win it, two big clutch shots by him.

horrible game by Westbrook. Made 3 bad plays in a row to end the third when OKC were on a run. Then 2 awful efforts on Parker 2 plays in a row. That loss was all on him

This is why Harden is such a loss. When one of Durant or Westbrook are struggling Harden was the one who came up and did some damage. It's going to be really interesting to see how deep they go this year. No doubt they will win a lot of games but quality depth could be an issue.

The Thunder gave up Harden (and a few others) for Kevin Martin? Jesus.
