- Roy Hibbert stays in Indiana
- Kris Humphries returns to the Nets
- Celtics to offer Jason Terry 3 year deal - $15 mil (puts the Linsanity into perspective  )

Very interesting program last Sunday - on ABC2 I think - night about some of the shonky dealings that were done to get the Nets to Brooklyn.

Am a fan of Hibbert but feel his signing is unbelievably important for the Pacers.

Jason Kidd is lucky to be alive after a smash while drunk.

On Espn it's been reported that Howard is interested in signing a long term contract with the lakers. A deal with up to 4 teams will make this happen it looks

that was my initial reaction to the news, but then i read that last season he averaged something like 17ppg and 7reb.

given that our entire bench last season averaged a touch over 20ppg, i don't mind picking him up. depth was a massive issue last season, not so much anymore. i would have loved to keep Sessions though. did we even try to keep him does anyone know? or we couldn't afford him? or he wanted a starting spot?

I dare say Sessions probably wanted a starting spot, I've read before he's supposedly got tickets on himself. With Nash & Blake he became redundant and can now take his skills to the Bobcats.

Jamison is a good pick up if the price is right but he loves his shots so Kobe might have a thing or two to say about that.

Session decided not to take the extension on his contract way before Nash talk was even around to test the free agency

i hate Blake. i mean HATE him. yes, he earnt a little respect from me in the playoffs, but i still wish he wasnt even in the NBA. i really liked the look of the team when Sessions was on the court, and he can do what both Nash and Blake can't......DEFEND! oh well, it's done and dusted. hopefully the youg lads on the team like Goudelock (sp?) come along nicely under the tutorage of Nash, and can take a few minutes from Blake by seasons end.

also, just read that the NBA have approved for sponsors to start appearing on the jerseys from the 2013/14 season. It's only a 6x6cm patch on the chest for now, but i'm guessing it won't take long for them to realise the potential extra $$$$ and end up letting it get out of hand. end up with a big one under the number on the back (AFL Style), then on the legs of the shorts etc........

it will look horrible, much like the NBL jerseys over here.

I am not a big fan of Blake either. Would've loved sessions as Nash back up
Also read about the sponsorship this morning. Surprised its taken this long
But they make Enough money now. Should leave it
But all they see is dollar signs

Can anyone that's been before give me some advice?? Going to the states has been a life long dream and originally the plan was to go with the other half and do it over a month . But circumstances have made this difficult so I'm now heading with a mate for at this stage a fortnight . Basically the trip will be planned around the basketball whilst incorporating tourist stuff.

Thinking LA couple nights. One game at staples center. Then onto Vegas for few nights . And being huge Miami fan a minimum week there to squeeze in as many games as possible.

Would trying to do New York and a game at Madison square garden be too hectic schedule ? I know you have to fly into either LA or new York . So maybe NY then Miami , Vegas then home via LA or do the other three then have to fly from Miami back to LA to get home ??? Decisions decisions

Anyone that's been help would be appreciated

i've been there twice now, the first was for a basketball tour sort of thing, where we pretty much just played bball and that was it. the second time (2010) was a three week holiday with the missus. i suggest doing whatever you can to get to as many games as possible. we kinda got shafted while we were there, as there was only 2 games in LA (1 Lakers, 1 Clippers) and 1 in San Fran/Oakland (wherever it is that the Warriors play?). because of this, i decided to just go to the one game, Lakers v Raptors, and go all out with the tickets. the tickets we bought were just under AUD$500 each. yes it was a lot of money, but we could hear Phil Jackson talking at timeouts. one of the greatest nights of my life. if it wasn't for this scheduling stuff up, i woulda went much cheaper tickets and gone to as many games as possible. but it just wasn't the case.

highlight of my trip was seeing myself on the big screen above centre court! because Kobe hit a buzzer beater to win the game, and by this stage i'd had a few beers, i took off my top and started waving it above my head Kevin Sheedy stlye and just going mental, and they got me on the big screen!

Been to Miami (AA Arena)- got some nose bleed seats in a pre-season game, but was still awesome.

My main suggestion- the city itself is a HOLE. Get your tickets, and rock up for the game, and get back out! Stay in Fort Lauderdale or something (Hotel Coral Essex one suggestion 8) )

Is that right .... Thought it would be unreal .

I've heard varied reports of LA too ?? Hoping to catch two home games at Miami and one there other games on the road. Hard to know how many nights to stay at each place when your only going off the travel agents guide and people's opinions. Guess everyone enjoys different places

also, i'd suggest getting to an ice hockey game. i am not a hockey fan at all, and i mean AT ALL. could name probably only 3 or 4 teams in the league, let alone any players. but one night we were there and didn't have any plans, and the Ducks were playing just down the road, so we grabbed a couple $16 tix (nose bleed to the max, we were literally the last row) but it was a wicked thing to watch. the way the stadium is set up, even though we were the last row, we were still really close to the ice because the stands are really steep and don't actually go back far at all. I would definetly go to a hockey game again when we head back over there.

I'm heading over in Dec/Jan for almost six weeks. Got tix to the NFL (Chargers @ Jets), waiting for tix to go on sale for NHL (Coyotes @ Ducks), and waiting for NBA schedule still. Got 10 days in NYC so will make sure I get to the Garden to watch the Knicks, got a couple of nights in Toronto, San Fran and LA so might get to a Raptors, Warriors or Lakers/Clippers. But the Garden is Priority #1.
