Last years Playoffs were the best for a long time but I agree it's been a pretty crap so far.

Miami vs OKC or Spurs should be good to watch, I'd love to see them play OKC personally.

What do the Bulls do next year RM regarding PG? I reckon they should have a play for Nash get an experienced point guard in and wait for Rose towards seasons end.

This has been the one series worth following. The Grizzlies are a tough team, just lacking a bit of star power to really take it further. Good feather in the cap of the Clippers to knock them off though (assuming the close out the series).

First time I've ever heard of this happening but Dallas' players have voted not to give Lamar Odom a share of their playoff money:

Fair enough I say. After what he gave them and then so meekly leaving while still punching his meal ticket he doesn't deserve anything more. Not much money, but the gesture is the slap in the face he deserves.

Agreed. His attitude and poor play the entire season was a large factor in the Mavs disappointing title defence being the first defending champion to be swept in the first round since the Heat in '07. He warrants any sort of token derision his fellow teammates can throw at him. When the Mavs decline his option for next season and he becomes a free agent hopefully he's wiped a fair bit off of what offers he gets in the offseason.

Why can't Andrew Bynum get more than eight shots, when Matt Barnes is taking 14...and Kobe, you just keep shooting. He is a better playing taking 15 shots and distributing the ball

Today Kobe missed almost as many shots (18) as Gasol & Bynum combined attempted (19).

Chris Paul apaprently hurt a hip flexor while Griffin hyperextended his knee. Fingers crossed both are ok, we've lost far too many top tier players already.

Miami 106-94 New York (Heat win 4-1)
LeBron has another complete game 29/8/7
Mello has 35 points on 15/31 ft, but why does Smith keep shooting...3/15

Memphis 92-80 LA Clippers (Clippers lead 3-2)
Marc Gasol bounces back from terrible four point game four with 23 points on 8/14 shooting
Why do Griffin an Paul shoot just 22 fga between them, made eleven. Mo Williams shoots 8/21 and Caron Butler 2/10

As a reponse to the comments about LeBron and Carmelo I think both have benefited from taking the clear mantle of team leader, whereas even up until fairly late in the season it wasn't clear who was taking charge. Both sides work best that way but New York just aren't in the same class as Miami right now. Maybe one day if they can get the egos pulling in the same direction like LeBron, Wade and Bosh seem to have done from day 1, even if things haven't done so smoothly.

I did see about Paul and Blake being injured, but both played 39 minutes

Three potential close out games today.
My tips.
Chicago to force game seven
Boston to advance
Lakers having to go home for game seven...how will a sick Kobe go?
