Just watched a Love-less Wolves play - they really held up well.
Pekovic is so improved. They had no Ridnour either.

I was impressed with Randolph, and even Beasley.. having Love out gave them more of the ball through them.

Durant and Westbrook against combine for over 70 again.

And on the flipside, I started watching the Cavs and Washington. Yuck.
Not only were so many players out, but the back story from the commentators for almost every player included the phrase "D-League".

Doesn't help that their current uniforms are boring too (No, I don't like the Washington one, and the Cavs browny/red looks extremely dated with the yellow)

Pacers gave us a big hand today by beating the Bucks, chance to go 3 games clear if we can upset the Heat at MSG tomorrow :ympray:

Despite 42 pts from Melo the Knicks simply not good enough and go down 93-85 to Miami.
Kobe still out for the Lakers, trailing the Mavs by 2 midway through the second

Sad to hear about the passing of former NBA journeyman Dwayne Schintzius, I used to love his extreme mullet in his Spurs days and will probably be best remembered for being the guy Shaq dunked on when he brought the whole basketball support down in New Jersey.

Yeah we should have but a couple of OT games recently and it's a meaningless game really.

The Wizards have beaten both OKC and the Bulls now, anything can happen in the NBA.

I just want the Playoffs to hurry up and start now.

Once the playoffs are decided, should we have a bracket comp?
Pick each series and the score - all the way to the final

Very crucial win for the Knicks today. Beat the Celtics 118-110, led by as many as 22.
Melo and JR had solid games, bit of a scare in the last as it looked like Pierce was going to single handedly get them over the line.
Knicks are now in 7th seed and a game clear of Philly but we own the tie break so effectively 2 games clear with 5 remaining

I like this. Heat Knicks first round match up would make the heat a bit nervous I reckon

While I'm not worried about facing the Knicks in the first round I'd prefer the Heat play them just so if Miami do progress they have had a tough first up series. They would romp against Philly. I don't think the Knicks could beat them over 7 games but they are playing pretty well right now so will be confident.

I think the Knicks play exactly the game that suits the Heat. Only have to worry about a couple of guys, James is the best matchup in the league for Anthony and the Knicks are known to turn the ball over a bit, which the Heat eat up. An even spread with some bench depth is what would test the Heat.

West playoffs will go right down to the last games

5 Memphis 36-25
6 Denver 34-27 (2 Games Behind)
7 Dallas 34-28 (2.5 GB)..lost 2 straight
8 Phoenix 32-29 (4 GB)
9 Houston 32-29 (4 GB)...lost 4 straight
10 Utah 32-30 (4.5 GB)

Interesting home court in East
4 Boston 36-26 (ranked higher as leader of Division)
5 Atlanta 36-25
6 Orlando 36-25

Team ranked 4th could have an inferior record to the away team in the first round
