Cairns Taipans import Cameron Oliver who was recently released on compassionate grounds has now signed with the Houston Rockets to a 10-day contract.

The Illawarra Hawks have announced that Cameron Bairstow will be out for the rest of the season with a hip injury and the team have brought Tim Coenraad back out of retirement as his replacement. Coenraad is expected to play tonight against the 36ers.

The Brisbane Bullets have announced they've signed promising young big Tyrell Harrison to a 2 year contract extension.

Also Cameron Oliver scored 13 points in his NBA debut today in the Rockets loss to the Trailblazers. His teammate and ex-Sydney King Jae'Sean Tate also had 12 points, 8 assists and 7 boards.

The Sydney Kings have announced they will be parting ways with head coach Adam Forde at the end of the season. The Kings currently have a 14-15 record and are now 5th on the ladder.

Josh Giddey has played his last game for the 36ers and will sit out the rest of the season to prepare for the NBA Draft.

The Brisbane Bullets Nathan Sobey has been added to the Boomers Olympic squad. The squad will assemble for a pre-Olympic camp in the US in July. Sobey is second in the league in scoring averaging at 22.4 ppg, 4.6 rpg and 4.4 apg.
