Absolutely they are, they made the GF in their first season and then the semi's last season and I think this season's team is likely their best one yet.

Jordan Crawford is brilliant to watch

I must admit I thought it was a mistake signing an import that is only 5'6" even though he did lead the Turkish league in scoring last season but so far he's been pretty good.

Going back to a game played between Sydney Kings and Adelaide 36s on 8/10/2023
SK 109
AD 100

QUESTION
SK 109 AD 98
With 2.9 seconds to go in the match
Using footy analogy this happened
SK player in back pocket had the throw in
He hurled it out of bounds on the full near the wing
AD get possession and score a 2 pointer just before the buzzer

Why did SK use that tactic to concede possession when so far in front ?

Sydney had their kids on at the end of the game as the result was safely in hand and one in particular Rentoy I think his name is had about three turnovers in no time. It wasn't intentional they get a bit excited getting some court time and try and impress not just the coaches but their friends and family sitting in the stands and try and do too much and often make mistakes.

Pinder got a really bad stray elbow to the face last season resulting in an orbital fracture and other complications so he wears that protective face mask thing.

18pts would be like when you booted 6 goals in a quarter
