Apologies for the late start to this thread. Not being able to access this site on anything other than my phone makes longer posts difficult. The new server is crap!

Baltusrol hosts the event this year, good track.

Round 1 underway with Jimmy Walker -5 the early leader in the race for the Wannamaker trophy, herein know as the Wisenhiemer trophy.

Jason Day shot -2 and is 3 shots back.

Coverage on foxtel 505.

Well into the second round and Johnny's brother, Jimmy Walker continues to lead. He's got it to -8.

Grillio sits one shot back.

Day hanging in at -2. He has a make able birdie putt on 10 just now.

Cut looks like +2. Rory is right on the number, as is Mickelson.

Day has 6 birdies in the last 7 holes!

Just nailed a long range putt, never looked like missing.

Great stuff Carey... I'm just catching up on it now, been out on my Saturday morning run (shuffle)....sounds like Day had an interrupted week in preparation. He has sure shaken that off. Gonna be a great weekend of golf. I will be late to work Monday morning if JD is in contention down the stretch.

I won't derail the thread but if the rest of us can access it on the browser it's clearly something on your end.

I think the server still has issues as well, it works then it doesn't anyway that's another story.

Bloody weather delay!

Walker heads to 16 with 2 shot lead as Day has a monster putt on 16 for birdie.
Looking like Walker holds on here

From what I've seen of the tourament, Day has been excellent at bailing himself out of trouble - has happened regularly though which doesn't bode well.

Oh, and I'm soooooooooooooo over the "Get in the hole" calls as soon as someone putts

Yeah I've seen limited vision of this tourney but Day does a great job of 2 putting from 50ft.

Needs to get that Approach shot at the pin for birdies/eagles

Day had to lay up on the par 5 out of the rough... Needs to knock the flag out now to make birdie.
