Total cost mate?

$3,200 (includes Drummond member discount)
Driver, Hybrid 2, Fairway 3, Crossover 4, - 5,6,7,8,9, pw, uw, sw

Pick'em up next week. Also got a Hybrid 3 & a lob wedge - took out the SW.
Came to $3515 all up.

Took out the Sw... Do you have another SW you like? Or do you plan not to go into the bunkers Spargo?
I felt I didn't need the SW (54 degrees) when I can use any of the PW 45 degrees, GW 50 degrees, LW 58 degrees.
Don't worry, I'll still find the sand plenty.

I'm currently off 14. I was hoping to get a down to 12ish and then get fitted for clubs.

Trouble is I haven't been playing enough of late. I'm playing Footy which starts at 10.15 so Saturday mornings are out and work has been crazy so come summer I should be ok.

I'd like to see the difference in you H/Cup after 6 weeks with the new clubs.

Getting fitted & spending that amount of coin is going to force me to play more. There's a driving range 5 mins from my place I intend on joining also.
I'd had old clubs which were inches too small for years, time will tell but hoping improvement is sooner rather than later.

I've been asking various people on any clubs v's fitted clubs and the general opinion seems to be if your under the 20 handicap mark it will certainty improve you by 2-3 on your handicap.

everyone is different tho time will tell I guess.

Funny you mention this......I'm currently arguing with the old man about this very concept. He's in his 60's and been playing for nearly 40 years and in that time purchased probably 5 sets max. Mid teens handicap since ever I can remember and just this year a titanium knee. I'm saying Club fit as it could be the last set you ever purchase before something else gives out (had a bad shoulder dislocation in the 70's that wouldn't go back in). Being the tight arse that he is, he only focuses on price and thinks a couple of hits in the shop to get the feel. A club fit session can accurately tell him the shaft set up that he needs and squeeze that little bit more out of what is left of his game....

Nike getting out of the business of equipment manufacturing......

Nike Exits Golf Club Business

Never really liked their golf balls or used their clubs of any sort apart from a mate that had a driver that was just the face only and the back hollowed out about 15 years ago.

One of my mates has the Vapor Irons and to be honest they seem like quality clubs, so interesting decision for Nike to get out of that side of golf. I believe the main reason they struggled is golfers aren't as easy to be conned into the brand as such. I know a few people are very disappointed though as they are a solid club.

At least Adidas have a completely different brand under their wing. Clothing and apparel under the main brand.

Although I seem to recall that they were looking to sell Taylor-Made?

From what I am being told, you may want to borrow your "mates" clubs this summer..... you may be looking for something to do.

Is that a 3.5+ MT? How does it rate?

I'm in the market for a push cart, and that one Certainly crosses most of the boxes.

He was the cheapest around for the buggy including online.
He did mention that with the change in the dollar the new shipment may be around the $360 mark.

I did see them at The Vines for $320 , not sure if they're still there or not as I haven't been looking...
