Westwood lead overnight at -5

Best placed Aussie after day one was Baddeley at -1

John Senden started the second day with a triple bogey to go to -5

Another tough scoring day ahead

I would say most Adelaide golf people would know him. At the very least they would know of his father who ran Pete's golf for all those years.

Good to see an Adelaidean have a win.

So that's 2 pro tour wins for Adelaide golfers in the past 12 months with Nick Cullen claiming the Indonesia Open last year

Yup, kept thinking of Larry Mizes shot out of his arse on the 3rd play-off hole in '87 and Norman's brain fade in '96, not again especially as both Scott and Day faltered on 16 17 with timid puts.

Finally feel good on a Master's Monday morning.

And Parry 54 hole leader in 1992.

Well done to Scott though and to think this was a year where our chances were not really talked up
Will say again, if John Senden could putt........

I see an Aussie had 2 holes in one in the one round in the euro tour!! Incredible! Most of us go a lifetime without one!

A few Aussies in some decent form going in to Muirfield this week. We should see 1 or 2 of them go deep in to the weekend. If an Aussie is to win it, I think Jason Day will give it a good run. He always sets himself up perfectly for the majors, he just needs to keep the faith in his game all weekend. Fingers crossed he is in a good position after Saturday and keeps going on Sunday.

Others in the field who should feature in the top 10/25 will be Adam Scott, Marc Leishman and John Senden.

The Aussie roughie who I personally hope does well is Geoff Ogilvy. Hasn't had the best run of late but has the game to go with the leaders.

Would love to see Jason or Adam win it. If an Aussie can't then I'm happy to see McIlroy, Westwood, Rose or my tip, Luke Donald get up. If a Yank has to win it then let it be anyone but Tiger Woods. Ricky Fowler probably can't finish top three but he would add some vitality and colour to the event
