My ride is picking me up around 2-30 so that should give me ample time to participate in the post round celebration

******* stroke! Stroked it far too many times and there were definitely moments where I thought about giving up looking for my ball. Even subbed out a Pro V1 to save cash

Firstly, I trust @carey and @mighty_tiger_79 enjoyed the day ( well, the first part anyway ) as much as I did.

The course was in great nick, one of the teams hooked in a promo girl / golfer ( https://www.golfergirl.com.au/ ) which, I called on the day, would have been paid to be there. Correct. Beers, rums, tequilas, lunch, all very good.

The golf.

Well, MT_79, let's call him "The Big Easy", his swing is smooth, almost lazy looking, but effective and gets the job done. I'm no coach but a little more club head speed and I'm sure his scoring would come down. Consistent golfer.

Carey, I've never played Mawson Lakes, but I can imagine all 18 holes set up as left to right dog legs that shape up nicely for Careys game. He took some time to convince us he's off 14, in fact he had to log on to convince himself.....now, let nobody ever call MT a burglar again, carey has a balaclava and gloves in his back pocket.

My golf? That of a bloke who plays a handful of times a year. Surprisingly good off the tee with the 3 or 4 iron, not bad off the fairways and held my own around the greens. Yes, MT and carey will make much of my tee shot on our 18th, but I'll claim 10 Super Dry cans impacted upon my swing. Hard to argue against it.

Ride home was *ahem* interesting to say the least, thanks Victa. ;)

All went to shit when I got home to find our 12 year old Beagle in a very poor state and ended up saying our last goodbyes to him at around 7pm that night. He was just 34° when the vet took his temperature, some major internal bleeding saw him in a very poor state and there was little we could do other than bid him farewell. Crying now.

It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.

Had a ripping day Boon, Golf was as bad as I could get! Absolutely no doubting that, and I certainty have no defence for it therefore all abuse is excepted and squarely on the chin! I was just lucky I played some decent ones in the back half of the day other wise the abuse may have been far worse!

My highlights of the day were;
- The Female golfer from the link listed above. (Wow just Wow, Green lace I believe MT79?)
- The Drink carts
- The condition of the course. I've never played it but certainly will again.
- The near 'bingle' of 2 golf buggy's (MT79 going as white as a ghost as a result)
- Did I mention the drink carts?
- The Battery acid call at the wine stand
- Boons Tee shot on 18 and yes I have a photo of MT79's reaction
- MT79 pissing like an IPhone7 Plus completely hands free!
- Boons $27 winner at Alberton oval
- The new chick at the land of promise (I think that's were not night started to go wrong ;) )

Lets just say my Friday extended far longer than I originally planned, To the point of no sleep at all before footy. Kicked the first 2 goals of the game and thought I was 'On' it most certainly was all down hill from there!

Cracking company for the day Boon is Boon, Boon's brother hurled abuse at me like we'd known each other 20 years I loved his work and MT79 also joined in the abuse but he waited till about can 9-10. MT79 has a seriously smooth swing.

for the record I think we finished square with the card but as many will know square doesn't cut the mustard in 4ball Ambrose. The winners carded a 8 under off the stick.

Here's hoping for another invite Boon.........(I won't hold my breath!) ;)
