So a handicap at Mawsons is half of what it would be on full course..... ;)

Although I havent played there in a while, Kapunda is in pretty good nick normally and relatively cheap also.

Sandy Creek is in pretty good shape at the moment.

I used to like playing at North Lakes (it was cheap and I am Sh*t), but I started getting frustrated that even when you played a good shot down the fairway, you still ended up on rock hard dirt half the time (even though I'm still sh*t!) so it wasn't worth it.

Played Nth Adelaide Nth Course last week, not the best course ever but better than what I expected given what everyones says about it.

Played 9 at regency the other day.

That course is in cracking nick, kudos to the staff there. Probably the best 9 hole course going these days, better than penfield now i think.

Only played my second round since January, and shot 44 which I was very happy with. Helps that I pitched in from about 60m for birdie on the 4th.

Could have been better too, lipped out another birdie putt and shanked a par putt.

Playing ambrose, my ball went to the right of the traps and would have been in an ok position if I had to play it, 20m chip on maybe...

Bloke in our team (who hadnt played in 20 years) hit a Hybrid up there, it went low and flat like a tracer bullet, ran into a trap, up the trap, followed the lip around somehow and ended up on the left hand side of the green putting for Birdie, still dont know how it happened lol!

Was tested with the 200m par 3 (12th i reckon) into a stiff breeze, had to use the 3 wood to get close

Curiosity,

What, if any, apps do you guys use when playing golf.

I normally use Hole19, really good for individual play, keep stats (if you can be bothered putting the info in but it isnt that hard).
What I dont like about it is that it doesnt link to another person in a live domain, so if you have two groups playing, you cant see the other persons/team score.

I have just stumbled across GameBook Live Golf scorecard, has mutiple formats and scoring, appears to have the ability to create/host a tournament or game (so like a footy club golf day using ambrose) but I havent had a round with it yet.

What do you all prefer

78 off the stick nett 65.

Previous best was 80 which I've shot 4 times.

Everything just went right yesterday. Couple of really good putts and I chipped in twice on the first and third so I was off to a good start.

Crash back to earth with a 85 nett 72.

One out of bounds and 2 in the frigging water certainly doesn't help.
