Stay well clear of Westsided (https://www.westsided.com/) who are advertising everywhere on social media
Fortunately, I am well experienced in disputing on my credit card

How about this effort from them

My order was:
1. Mens Cotton Linen Striped Button Down Long Sleeve Red·XL
2. Mens Cotton Linen Striped Button Down Long Sleeve Sky Blue·XL
3. Mens Cotton Linen Striped Button Down Long Sleeve Green·M
4. Mens Cotton Linen Striped Button Down Long Sleeve 2 Sky Blue·M

Here is what I received
1. Not a Button Down collar
2. Polyester / Not a Button Down collar / XXL
3. Polyester / Not a Button Down collar
4. Polyester / Not a Button Down collar / Black / L

He said I can keep them and they will give partial compensation. What's it worth?

$2 each - because that's what you would pay in Stanley in HK

I've disputed it with AMEX - make them do the work
Most people dont realise its the credit cards responsibility to ensure you are getting what you ordered.
Very easy to dispute with them - AMEX are very good at it
They dont pay the merchant for 90 days so you have to do it within that time so they dont pay

Good.

In a nutshell, and in general, this is one of 11 domains registered on the same day (Feb 22) all offering wide array's of goods claiming to have branches in
California, New York and Rome. These stores don't exist.

They either don't send, send low cost and low quality junk. Either way you lose. Or the credit card company loses. Enough complaints and they will be cut off by AMEX, Visa etc.

The websites look great with plenty of model pics etc. They are all from legit websites.

Be interested to know where the goods were sent from.

I used to laugh at the ex whenever she purchased any clothes online, they f*** the order up 95% of the time and it arrives the day before it's intended purpose.

I'm old fashioned, go in shop, try something on, buy it.

I wouldn't mind dealing with the company that's currently advertised at the bottom my screen, a chick just walked into my office and thought I had something naughty open.

Gee whiz, I just about need a coffee and a cigarette after we had a closer look.

Now Paypal are writing to me although I didn't use them
I set it up years ago when an HK hotel would only accept paypal
I have no idea how it works but, from the website, it looks like the pay up to $45 to send the goods back
Problem? Try to ask them a question about WTF is going on. Their responses are as bad as the mob who sent me the shirts!

Interesting that your dispute was resolved the day before you lodged it.

I would think long and hard about posting it back. It may have little or no affect on your refund.

I understand that you would like to know the status of the dispute/chargeback that you have filed with your bank.
However, we will not be able to access their system so we will not be able to check its status from our end.

Please contact your card issuer for clarification and further assistance.

Thank you and have a good one.

That is incorrect. I have a Case ID xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I did not know I could claim on Paypal. Please advise how I do it

That is exactly the case that was created when you filed a chargeback with your bank.
Chargebacks occur when buyers ask their credit card issuer to reverse a transaction that has already been approved.

Customers can initiate a chargeback when:

An item is significantly different from its description or is defective.
An item is not received.
A payment is processed more than once.
A payment is unauthorised.

I am seeing that the said transaction happened on a guest checkout where you did not login to your account and send your payment by entering the card details.

We were notified by your bank about the chargeback that you did with this transaction and since your bank will be handling this dispute, we will not be able to investigate or decide on this case as we do not have access to the investigation details.
We will definitely work with your bank if they will request PayPal to do so.
Please contact your card issuer for further details and assistance regarding the case.

- Solieta

Again; thank you but it was not the case.

"I understand that you would like to know the status of the dispute/chargeback that you have filed with your bank."

I do not want to know the status of the dispute/chargeback that I have filed with my bank.

I said I didn't know I could claim with paypal. If you look at my account you will see that I have rarely used paypal. My question was can I claim through Paypal. If I cant then so be it. I'll just take the credit from AMEX and leave it at that

2:33 PM

I tried to call you to answer your concern and I regret that I was routed to your voicemail.

You can actually file a dispute even for a guest transaction as it should be covered by our Purchase Protection although you may need to call us so we can locate the transaction and dispute it.
Had it happened on your personal account where you will be needing to login to access it, you should be able to do it from your end by simply reporting the said transaction on the resolution center.

Now that you have disputed it with your bank, we will wait for the outcome of their investigation and will provide full cooperation when requested.

Thank you and have a good day!

As an update
AMEX would only refund if I proved i sent it back
I paid $35 and sent it back
AMEX refunded me

3 months later the parcel lands back at my post office "RTS"
It still sits unwrapped in the spare room in case they try to charge me again

Rite Price Heating and Cooling has (and is still) a debacle for the ages.

Was quoted on a one day job to replace a reverse cycle ducted a/c

We are now at day 5 over six weeks during which the new air conditioner is not working (the previous one worked but poorly) and somehow a different air conditioner in the house, which wasn’t supposed to be touched had ceased working.

This is only a small percentage of the absolute shambles it has been dealing with them which as you can appreciate has been exasperated by the heat wave.

At this point the worst violence I could do to someone I don’t like is to treat them to an upgrade courtesy of Rite Price
