Is the best takeaway food I have ever had

Fried boneless chicken
Pork skewers
Pad Thai
Fried Pork
Calamari/prawns/fish
Thai coleslaw

Food 10/10
Service 10/10

I’m about to be in a food coma.

Get there.

The ‘Pattaya Mayo’ has me a tad cautious.....

Greek on Halifax Saturday night, my favourite restaurant in SA, pricey but the food is just brilliant.

Started off with the Four Island Mixed Dip Platter then took the Mixed Platter for mains (Prawns, calamari, octopus, lamb yiros, lamb cutlets and chicken souvlaki).

2 reds, 2 coronas.

$219 all up, we were going to go the Seafood Platter which was $25 cheaper only because of the Moreton Bay Bugs, we decided we'll just go back and get them separately another time.

Service and food was impeccable as per usual, the Elvis album playing softly in the background set it off nicely too.

Can confirm that Bangcoq Thai Fried Chicken on Unley Rd is right up there as the best Take Away I’ve ever had.... Seriously good!

If you're ever looking for a place to have a feed in Gawler you must consider "The Golden Fleece".

Went there again on Saturday evening and it didn't take long to remember why I chose to go there.

Got a S&P Squid to share as an entree and it would suffice as a meal on it's own ($16).

Selected the 300gm Scotch Fillet served with smashed potatoes, broccolini, red onion, cherry tomatoes topped with a red wine sauce, it was cooked to perfection.

The Spanish styled chicken looked the part and tasted just as good.

It is an ideal location, the pizza's looked pretty tasty also.

Had f*** all to do with their pies or hot food in general.

You're pretty blessed down your way too with the Port Elliott bakery, other ones of note are the Port Wakefield bakery and Yorketown bakery, wasn't a fan of the Bakery on O'Connell or Ardossan bakery, this is purely based on Peppered Steak pies.

Spent the ANZAC weekend at Port Elliot. Was in the bakery within minutes of arriving. Huge queue out the front but fast moving, they have their system worked out to a tee.

That's because you eat the wrong type of pie mate. Give me steak + mushroom over pepper steak anyday of the week. ;)

Shit yeah, although they used to burn me, I'd hang off eating all day if I was umpiring a 17's and B's game only to go there and they closed at 2 on Saturdays.

I just can't seem to like mushroom in a pie, I know I'm pretty alone in that department.
