Had a poor experience there 18 months or so back (poor service and avg food). But kept hearing good things. We've been back half a dozen times (as they do early dinner which is great with 2 & 3yr old). Service has been great (staff interact with kids and give a colouring book straight away), food has been good.

Above average pub I'd say.

I like all day dining so I’ll give them another go at some stage

Welcome back.

Plenty of excellent choices now at Henley Beach. Hard to get a car park at times.

Largs Pier, 12 of us.

Air con wasn't on. Bloody stuffy. We all ordered at same time at 12.45pm Took over an hour for 9 plates to come out. Another 15 mins later, the last 3 (all salt and pepper squids) still not out, so quietly mention this to waitress.

Waitress insists that this is because the fried food is done last.

What a crock of shit. Another 5 mins later, the last 3 plates come out and the squid was so soggy and dripping with oil that it was inedible.

Manager then finally admitted that they just ****** up and offered us each a free drink.

We send the squids back and there wasn't even an offer of a refund. They finally turned the air con on at about 2.15pm

Never again.

Black balled..

Manager should have given refunds on all the meals.

Hope you all left similar reviews on their page.

Sunisa's Thai Restaurant - Gulfview rd, Christies Bch

spring rolls
hokkinen noodles with prawns
Massaman beef curry
Green chicken curry

Food was absolutely delish. The beef was just sublime, just melted away beautifully, but the sauce, was just magnificent, you could just drink it straight out of the pot.
the Green curry was alright, had a nice hit of curry to it.

so i give it a solid 8/10

and i give it an extra .75 for being a 2 min drive up the road

so 8.75/10

A couple of reviews.

Saltram Estate (Angaston)
Picked up a $29 Scoupon voucher that got the following for two people:
1 Greek salad
1 Chips and aioli
1 serve of garlic bread each
1 12" pizza of your choice (we selected the butchers smallgoods)
Either a Pepperjack Shiraz or a Saltram Estate Ale or a white each.

It was a beautiful day and they said with that deal we could only dine inside for table service, I suggested that I do all the leg work so we could enjoy the amazing surroundings to which they obliged and still waited on us. Then everyone started moving outside.

To top it off you get 30% off from their cellar door if you dine there, a couple of bottles of their cab sav on the way out and I was pretty happy.

9/10 all round, my only fault I could find was the food came out too quick................a rarity.

These scoopon and Barossa wineries are hidden gems, hand in hand you can't go wrong, I've already purchased a few more, another one for Saltram's, it isn't a meal, it's an experieince.

Cafe Di Roma
Wanted Thai food but they were booked out so a walk a little further down Prospect Road and decided on Italian.
Had a Bruschetta (basically a little pizza instead of a roll)
A 9" pizza (half calabrese/ half marinara)
A mains of meatballs
A mains of Spinach and Ricotta Canneloni
2 x Corona's and 1 x Pepperjack Shiraz

Total: $83

Bruschetta was different but very nice.
Pizza was amazing, the marinara side was stacked full of prawns, would get that alone next time but the other half was very enjoyable still.
The meatballs looked like a Tony Soprano sized serving, you know you've got good meatballs when you can push your fork down flat on top and it squishes with ease.
I had a couple of mouthfuls of the canneloni, size and quality was good.

Once again, a solid 9, I loved the way they keep some parmesan at the table for you to top up.

As I paid the owner recognised me as I used to play cricket against him and in representative sides, he said to go see him next time I go back before I order so I guess I'll have to return......................what a shame.

Right on cue I noticed Scoopon sent one through this morning for Talunga Estate at Gumeracha, $29 for a 2-person deal.
