This topic has plummeted to new lows. Going to catch the running sheet soon if this tomfoolery continues.

With baby due in 6 weeks and clowns erring from the thread description what a great time to join Costco today and do a review.

Mrs Wristy had the hotdog w relish and sauce with a chirozzo and a large sunkist and was happy with her lunch.

As a man who loves his hot dogs I had a skinless frank with a delicate garnish of onion, a chunky line of relish, fine line of mustard and rather creative zig zag line of sauce. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavour combo and the100% pork frank had a good texture and flavour. I also tried a piece of BBQ chicken pizza which was large and exceeded expectations. My drink of choice was Pepsi whilst the free refill enabled me to get a big cup of Mountain Dew for the road.

Service time was very quick and we found a nice clean table although the decor seemed far to red for my liking. A bonus point for the kid who fell of his seat, somersaulted and didn't drop his hotdog. I'm telling you they are good dogs.

Total cost for food and drinks for 2 = $8.45

Probably not a first date option and may not moisten the missus but it delivered and exceeded expectations 7/10

We've gone from Chianti reviews to Costco Hot dogs and OTR pies.

I'm taking a break from this thread until we all have had a good look at ourselves.

If we are reviewing fast food outlets then this thread is dangerously close to jumping the shark if not already....

This thread never really recovered after Wristy's month in purgatory.

He's got several months of purging via Wristy not far away. ;)

Yeah I agree it actually had an authentic Italian taste to it. Sauce was also strong. Next time I will be trying the 5 cheeses although I do have my doubts over whether there actually is 5 cheeses on the pizza.

haven't had the cheese but the combo is also sensational. You can also buy the whole pizzas ready to heat in store for $14.

Problem is, they're so big they barely fit in the oven

Wristy is the Charles Manson of this thread/cult and as such needs to take control, maybe Soup Nazi style, and get this backyard back in order.

I don't know if anyone ever went to ChenZo's in the past - on Target Hill Road in Greenwith. Was always top quality Italian food.

Anyway, it was sold around February/March and the new owners Roland (the head Chef) and his wife Mel have put their own stamp on the place.

It's changing names soon as well.

Well worth checking out - it's a hidden gem that you don't just drive past and see.

Maybe we could start including photos of places/food/drinks/whatever with the reviews. Could add something even if you feel like you look like a pratt taking photos of your grub.

ChenZos (soon to be renamed)

Fillet steak cooked medium rare (and was actually done right) with red wine sauce.

My brother had the same except with prawns (surf and turf)

I also had some oysters natural (fresh in that day)

So last night stayed in Mildura at the Best Western Chaffey.
Restaurant is rated #1 in town and I know why.
I had the pumpkin ravioli starer with a burnt sage butter sauce followed by a "250g" eye fillet with garlic mash and seasonal veg.
Entree was very good but the steak was one of the best I have had in a long time and was way over 250g. Nice bark on the outside and med rare inside. Superb experience along with happy hour all beers $5 so I indulged in few too many White Rabbit Dark Ales.
9.5/10 magnificent

Bad Boy Burger Bar

Went there for the first time Friday. I got the Heart Attack, which is 4 pattys, 4 slices of cheese, and some fillings. Stands about 20cm tall.

I had to split it in half, 2 patties each side and still eat it with a knife and fork.

That with chips (mistake) and a drink was $27.

Pretty good value when you see how many cows were used to make it.

Good service (he arranged for takeaway containers for me)

Great taste. The cheese snuck up on me after the beef taste subsided. Man thats good cheese.

Decent price.

They dont wear snapbacks with hip hop blasting out of the speakers like Nordburger do, so an extra point for that.

8/10

Those dogs are the only reason I agree to go to Costco. Truely remarkable.
