Might have to try this joint. Every time I'm in Chinatown I am drawn to Ricky's chicken rice!

Settlers Hotel tonight.

I had the Beef Porterhouse Schnitzel w Mushroom Sauce. Comes with salad in a bowl so as not to mix. I like this touch. Also a bonus point for not feeling the need to put the schnitzels on top of the chips. An all too often occurring serving technique which I assume is designed to trick the near sighted into "biggest schnitzel ever" misconceptions.

The nephew had Chicken Schnitzel with Gravy, chips and salad and smashed it lie a champ and was full of compliments.

Preggo Wristy had the fish and chips and left the plate empty. Good serve and a solid accompaniment of garlic aioli.

We had a booth, I love a booth. The service was polite and friendly and she laughed at my shit jokes. The bread rolls were nice and fresh with room temperature butter. Finally she put the main TV on the Ashes as they bowled the first over and we made a watchful steady start which helped the whole experience. Also a very large restaurant so you are nowhere near other patrons and have plenty of space.

It's 2 for 1 in the ent book so $49 became $33. No salad and veg bar but I don't mind that if it's good food, decent portion and well presented. Sometimes it means they have confidence in the chef to give you value for money without the extras.

Overall 8.5/10 , worth it if you're in the area.

Where you there today? I popped my cherry.

Haven't reviewed yet as the food was great but the service was puss. 1 hour wait time. Will do one later after the footy but I reckon 127 and the foundry are better. Had the Armstrong burger and liked the novelty of the place but after about 45 minutes and one rude little f@ckwit waitress my experience was soured. "Your drinks are being prepared soon" is not the right answer to where is the coke you said you would personally bring straight out after f@cking up our drinks 15 minutes ago.

I wanted to maintain my unbiased analytical ability so I was going to wait to do the revue.

Ok, I was there at lunch. Quiet when we arrived, got busy soon after and they hit the panic button.

What burger did you go?

Same as last time. I couldnt decide, so didnt wanna risk trying something new.

Pretty much had the same meal.

The missus got the Cajun Chicken Salad. Massive, and the chicken i tried was delicous.

Some of the waitresses do look like they'd get a bit bitchy if things got hectic.

Not my review but my brother went to Arya indian restaurant in O'Connell street on Friday night and waited an hour and a half for his meal, without any apology or compensation.

Surely this is worth an eightball between the eyes.

My girlfriend and I went to Nordburger this afternoon. Not really that great to be honest, I got the Big Kahana and it was ok, not the best burger I've ever had but certainly not the worst. They've got a cool little set up there and the burgers are cheap, under $10 is really good, if they were over $10 it wouldn't be worth it though, you get for what you pay for. The Tater Tots, OMG they're to die for, I loved them! Best part of my 'meal' and I use the word meal loosely because Nordburger burgers are a snack for me, not a meal, it wasn't that satisfying. Service there was really good.

127 Days reins supreme as the best Burger joint I've been to so far with Burger Foundry second.

I'm giving Nordburger a 6/10

The so called official reviewers whom I rate nowhere near as high as people on this page without agendas rate it quite highly surprisingly and above Chuck Wagon. I thought I saw it in the ent book and if it is and I'm in the area I might give it a bash but you have scared me with the lack of size.

BTW people, 127 days is not open on Sundays

Price reflects burger size at Nord. Nice ten buck burgers.

It's a bit disappointing they don't do their hotdogs anymore. A burger, hotdog and fries was the perfect $20 meal.

So was I at about 12.30 today after talking it up to my nephew all morning

Another couple rocked up whilst we stood at the door in disbelief, seems a very strange day of the week to not be open.
