Yeah mate, the hairs on the back of my neck have stood on end a few times today, I remember it unfolding like yesterday, all the young lads stopped my joint spasmodically all afternoon and evening, a very hollow day and it happened only a few km's from my house.

Same here Rusy, last time I went through it I was a wreck and swore I'd never get another dog.
Then I meet my missus and she has a dog who is now mine and follows me everywhere so I'll have to go through it again.
Took my boy to the vet just to get a tooth removed this morning and struggled even then!
Damn dogs!

I'm going through the same with Jackie, although with Cats it's a lot longer process, although at almost 18, you wonder how long she can last.

I know it's coming - it's just a matter of when

My dog is not yet 5 and I think about this often and how i'd react...
I didn't have a dog for 20 years after a bad experience with my first dog so hate to think.
