All Holden Day @ The Bay Sunday 27th Nov

Postby Sam_goUUUdogs » Mon Nov 21, 2005 6:31 pm

Sunday 27th Nov 2005
Wigley Reserve, Glenelg - gates open 9am to 5pm

(From The AME Site)

Last year we had 267 Holdens on the Wigley reserve and as we get close we think we will just top that this year. We have done a new layout for the reserve that will allow up to 300 Holdens.

If you work on a per capita scenario with the population of S.A… That makes the it the biggest all Holden day in Australia.

Shannons, City Holden and Eagle Paint n’ Panel will be this years major Sponsors, which has enabled us to secure a couple of very special feature cars from interstate. One of these machines is Eddy Tassone… From Perth’s new twin turbo VZ Ute which produced 1379HP at the Melbourne AME on Oct 30th, which makes it the most powerful street car in Australia over the last 2 years. City Holden will be arranging another yet to be seen in Adelaide car for the event.

To prove Eddy’s Ute is a streeter, it will be driven to and from the All Holden Day complete with it’s twin turbo’s out of the bonnet.

We have organised catering on site from Breakfast to Afternoon tea.

As previously stated the AHD will open to entrants from 6am till 10.30am for set up, and the public will begin to come in at 9am in the morning.

This year the All Holden Day will finish at between 4:00 and 4:30 when trophy presentation is complete. There will be no pressure for anybody to leave at that time.
