why drivers when wishing to turn left at an intersection will only stop if necessary.
the amount of close calls ive had is ridiculous from drivers who don't want to give way

T intersections, coming from the bottom of the T turning left. No right of way.

Also, if there is a designated left turn lane, the turning car ALWAYS has to give way.

How about having to indicate "left" as you leave a roundabout that you have gone straight through?

Yep, Junior Boon was advised by his instructor that that will be in the test.

Enter a roundabout with no indicators, going straight on, you indicate left just as you pass the road on your left.....what a ******* joke.

It's not a joke at all. What if it is a 5 road roundabout? Which road is straight?

Its as if its a curved road, and you're taking a "left" onto a seperate road. Even though you're going straight, you're "turning" onto a different road, hence the indication. Really, your car isn't really facing straight when you indicate, and you have to turn the wheel left to go straight on.

I figure I'm clear because they don't have their right indicator on, that usually a good sign...

The amount of people that dont indicate at all is pretty high, so I dont trust people are going straight until they do. (or they have their left indicator on)

Take a spin around the Naweena round-about at Regency Park. You'll never trust anyone ever again.
