We also had a fountain pool in the park down the street
No fence around it like today

Cracker season we used to light a fourpenny (The thing was like a stick of dynamite) let it burn down to the last protruding bit
Drop it into the water and instant depth charge

I got one of my mates a beauty: Yelled at him when he was meant to let it go.
He still let it go but it blew up around the groin region
Never run so fast in my life

Why did you need one Dutchy, I'm almost 53 and have never needed one.
I'm actually amazed despite my lifestyle how I'm rarely sick compared to people in their 20s and 30s.

Grandfather died from Bowel cancer and my Dad and cousin have had it. As a family we did Genetic testing and I have the gene which makes me high risk so much better to be safe than sorry, worst bit of the whole day was the preparation.

Piece of mind is worth it.

I'll be 80 come October this year, but no party is planned as my wife and I will be touring Ireland and Wales at the time by hire car.
(And my hair is still brown except at the edges!)

You know you're in your 50s when you broke your wife from partying too hard on a Friday night!
Looking at some of the photos of last night I should be broken myself but am ready to go again for a 3rd night in a row!
Good news about breaking her is she's considering driving tonight to our next session/party, free Uber for me! 8)
