I’ve drunk worse…………..

A chick I work with plonked the rest of her Honey Chicken in front me and said "You want the rest? I'm full"

I was hooking into it when she asked "Did you just get a fork out of your drawer?"

"Yeah, I did" I replied.

She follows up with "Well I'm sure you've had far worse in your mouth".

A member of our safootynet family has been having a tough time of it lately.

Failed Creation spends his Saturday's following a local footy club around that he loves and takes hundreds of game day photo's, his photography is of very high quality.

Last Saturday his camera shat itself during the day which no doubt left him pretty down as photography is his escape and passion.

Roll in the brilliance of a great club rallying together to help a great man out, his club people chipped in and FC is now back on board with a $1400 camera.

I read this last night and it put a huge lump in my throat, a bloke that gives so much to the community and expects nothing in return gets hugely rewarded for being that person, community spirit is alive and well.

That's my Good News story to head into the weekend with, the more I think of it, the more it chugs on my heart strings.

Keep up the good work FC, I look forward to perusing your fine work each weekend, I love ya like a brother mate

That is awesome for @failed creation an absolutely cracking bloke! Especially for a Port supporter

Well done to the club and people who did that for him.

Thanks, lads.

Mrs. C and I were totally flabbergasted that the club (driven by the players) would go out and do that, especially within 24 to 36 hours after the event.

We love what we do, and never expected anything like this to happen.

The camera should arrive in 4-6 weeks, so we're keen on getting to try it out.

I can't speak highly enough of the club.

Met FC on the one occasion and seemed like a great honest bloke. We had a good chat all things cricket and his passion for the game was contagious.

I'm glad to hear his club recognize what he does and help him out, strong communities are built on acts like that.

I don't really have a dog in the fight but it's great to see Queensland getting smacked around in Origin.

Bit late to the party, but cheers LM for telling that story and great stuff FC. You've obviously made a positive difference to others lives and they've tried return the favour in kind. Awesome story, enjoy the new camera when it lands mate.

Went to the footy Saturday twilight, had a few brews but nothing over the top, got home to have a couple more, watched Essendon/Melbourne and in bed by 10. Woke up Sunday morning at 9:45! Can't remember the last time I woke up at nearly 10 on a Sunday, did next to nothing for the rest of the day before Carlton/Adelaide led into NSW/Qld. Not a big fan of "nothing" days but quite enjoyed having a nothing day yesterday.

After having the squirts for the last couple of days, I rate now being able to fart with confidence again.

Yep, nothing like the old Colgate 'ring of confidence.'

A confident fart post squirts is a very satisfying, yet somewhat trepidatious moment. Happy for you mate.

Might take this out the sad thread.
