I saw a bloke proposing to a chick on the beach some 20 odd years ago, didn’t go well for the young fella…

A colleague was telling a similar story about her daughter, the poor dude took her to Windy Point and put in a huge effort, only to have the silent car trip home...........................he was then dumped once he got to her house.

I reckon I would've gone and got 3 hookers that night if it happened to me.

I would’ve left her at the restaurant with the bill…

The importance of looking after the father in law.

TBH, he has his head screwed on well, they own a house and are getting another one custom built, she always maintained that she didn't want kids, now she wants kids later on. As a parent, he is the type of lad that you could only wish that your daughter would end up with.

I'm the same age as DW but grew up playing hours and hours and hours of sport with the eldest son LW, he was pretty talented in his own right but never went on to play senior sport of any sort.

Back home after 4 full days in Melbourne
Transport with trains and trams for the most part were excellent.
The Billy show was as expected. The weather perfect. Acoustics in the stadium were surprisingly really good. Not sure how long his voice can hold on though. But wasn't at all disappointed.
Killers last night at Rod Laver. Brandon is an engaging front man who has the fans in the palm of his hand. They came out all guns ablazing. But his energy levels as high as they were, just didn't match the last show I saw them at the Ent Centre a few years back
I think this year of touring has perhaps taken its toll. Only downside was this was a tour postponed for covid and the set list didn't match my expectations. It was a festival set list imo. Nevertheless it was a very good show.
Matty Wade is a star and deserves more respect from the forum family!
